Good Afternoon Wildcat Friends and Families!!
We are on week 7 of our season and it’s HOMECOMING WEEK! I know this is something our boys, the community and school look forward to! I know many of the boys are feeling the season with some bumps and bruises, but I hope we can dig deep and come up with a homecoming WIN for the team and the school this week! I know they are all leaving everything on the field each week and I couldn’t be more proud of all of their effort!
Let’s get into logistics for this week and of course our Parent/SuperFan meet up back on our home turf!
Welcome to Week 7 of the regular season!
This week is a Big 8 Conference Game vs Madison West, also Homecoming and Teacher Appreciation Night. There will be no team meal this week due to the busy week and the odd schedule. Freshmen players numbers 22-99 will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets this week.
- JV is AWAY with kickoff set for 5:30PM on Wednesday, October 1.
- Varsity is vs Madison West (VAHS Stadium) with kickoff set for 7:00pm on Friday, October 3 (Homecoming/Teacher Appreciation Night)

- Watch Youth Practice after practice (fields behind Curtis Jones)
- Friday, October 3
- ALL Players should report to the Baseball Parking Lots by 4:05pm for the parade
- Varsity players should report to the Team Room by 5:40pm

So let’s get to the Parent/SuperFan Meetup! Our SuperFan meetup this week will be at PADDY MAC’S!!! It’s so important to come out and support our local sponsors, so right after the Homecoming Parade (starts at 4:15 near baseball fields) let’s fill PADDY MAC’S with some orange and black and get ready to cheer on our boys for a HOMECOMING VICTORY! If you can’t make it to the parent meetup we will see you at our HOME TURF at 7:00 and let’s get LOUD for our boys!
